Design visually appealing and informative Mobility Plan documents for local jurisdictions across the state of Florida. Design 2D and 3D renderings and visualizations for proposed multimodal improvements that enhance roadway safety and connectivity. Build and design data visualizations from GIS and tabular datasets using ArcMap, Excel, and Adobe Suite. Draft roadway re-designs, wayfinding signage, and quick-build projects using AutoCAD and Adobe Suite.

Assisted transportation planners and engineers on street design projects, small area plans, and corridor studies that implemented safety and mobility improvements for pedestrians, bicyclists and transit vehicles. Worked with GIS, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Lumion, and Adobe Suite to communicate ideas and concepts graphically. Created realistic photomontages to show proposed designs and concepts. Developed designs for the installation of quick build traffic calming projects. Designed more than 60 bikeshare stations for CitiBike NYC. Assisted the Data and Performance Analyst with the maintenance of the city’s Open Data Program. Presented and reported the program’s progress at City Commission and Planning Board meetings. Collaborated with different city departments to gather, analyze, and publish new datasets.

Analyzed the use of bikeshare, scootershare, and carshare in the City of Oakland using GIS and presented findings to community stakeholders using written and visual materials using Adobe Suite. Worked jointly with OakDOT and the Office of Sustainability to draft Oakland’s first Zero Emission Vehicle Action Plan. Researched and analyzed existing policies and strategies for electric vehicle adoption in the SF Bay Area. Assisted senior planning staff with the drafting of a new scootershare ordinance and data sharing standard.

Researched and analyzed the adoption of a city wide bus stop shelter build out program. Independently created a custom webGIS application to support the new Gainesville Business Portal. Designed a prototype way finding map for a bus stop shelter using Adobe Illustrator.

Educated hundreds of multidiscplinary students about city planning best practices to improve communities by instituing walkability, bike friendliness, residential density and mixed use development. Planned and led 6 general body meetings, 1 field trip and 4 community service events per semester. Designed outreach material such as the organization’s website, biweekly newsletters and 2 video promotions. Independently designed and published 2 pedestrian and bicycle way finding maps for the university’s campus.

Engaged with 150 college students and 50 professionals at the World’s Council of Peoples for the United Nations’ 2015 Climate Change & Water Youth Forum at the University of Miami. Brought on board the consuls of the Kingdom of the Netherlands and France, world-renowned scientists, filmmakers, and the Dean of the College of Communication at the University of Miami.

Selected 10 documentaries for the 4th Annual Miami & the Beaches Environmental Film Festival. Independently created and published a Snapchat geo-filter. Effectively communicated the Festival’s program to 20 colleges and universities in South Florida and New York.

Communicated with City of Miami Beach Commissioners and Broward College President and Provost to find short and long term solutions for sea level rise in South Florida.
